Shabana is an enthusiastic B.Sc. final year student working with Jaoud Ansari. She is interested in working with proteins, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases. During her training period, she has contributed to two book chapters already plus in research study which is under progress. During here training period she has gained expertise in protein purification and various spectroscopic techniques and can purify proteins by herself which proved out to be very beneficial for the PhD student she worked with. She has worked with TDP-43 protein which has role in Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
